Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026
TopSet is built to keep your data on your phone. We don’t run accounts, we don’t run servers for your workout data, and we don’t collect analytics. This policy explains that in plain terms.
1. Who we are
TopSet is operated by Trend Labs Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@usetopset.com.
2. The short version: we don’t collect your data
TopSet is a local-first, offline app. Everything you create — your workout templates, the sets and reps you log, and your session history — is stored only on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
- No account, no sign-up. You don’t create an account or give us an email to use the app. There is nothing to log in to.
- No analytics or tracking. We don’t use analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, crash trackers, or session recording. We can’t see how you use the app.
- No third-party data sharing. Because your data never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to share or sell — and we never will.
On Apple’s App Store “privacy nutrition label”, TopSet is declared as “Data Not Collected.”
3. Data stored on your device
The workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, and completed sessions you enter are saved in a private database on your phone, inside the app’s own storage. This data is covered by your device’s own security (and any device backup you’ve chosen to enable, such as iCloud or Google backup, which is governed by Apple’s or Google’s policies, not ours).
4. The website
This website (usetopset.com) is a simple marketing page. If you choose to give us your email address to be notified at launch, we use it only to send you that notification and store it with our email provider for that purpose. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing support@usetopset.com.
5. Deleting your data
Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in control of it. Deleting the TopSet app removes all of its data from your phone permanently. There is no server-side copy for us to delete, because we never had one.
6. Children’s privacy
TopSet is not directed at children under 13, and because the app collects no personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
7. Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have rights to access, correct, and delete personal data we hold about you. In practice the only personal data we might hold is a launch-notification email address you’ve given us on this website — email support@usetopset.com to exercise any of these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
8. Changes to this policy
If TopSet ever adds features that collect data (for example, optional cloud sync), we will update this policy and make the change clear before that feature is enabled. Continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
